I have been asked over and over if I am going to continue to
update my blog. My immediate answer is YES! I cannot wait to write again and
then when I truly think about it I just don’t know where to start. I thought I
was going to update every time Sawyer turned a month older and I realized that
was more complicated than I thought. So, I think I am going to update when I
can and hopefully they will still be enjoyable.
In Sawyers 2nd month we took a lot of trips
starting with going home to Gainesville, we then journeyed to Montgomery for a
family reunion and a couple weeks later we went to Jacksonville to celebrate
Granddaddy Sullivan’s 78th birthday.
Sawyer does awful in the car around town. At stop lights, low speeds and
so on but you put that baby on the highway and boy does he sleep! He does great
on long trips, which is such a relief.
Sawyer has been such a joy in our life and has been the
easiest baby. At 8 weeks he started sleeping thru the night!! We have a very
good schedule down which has been amazing. He sleeps (by putting himself to
sleep in his bed), wakes up to eat, plays for a little while and then starts
the whole sleep, eat, play cycle all over again. We have been taking walks
daily which he loves and his favorite thing is when you ask him questions so
that he can blabber back answers at you. He is probably saying wow, my parents
are such weirdo’s but instead of responding to that answer we make up responses
that make us seem a little less weird.
Bronson and I got to go on our first date since Sawyer was
born. Our wonderful neighbors kept him while we went to dinner for Bronson’s 30th
birthday. It was very nice but I think we were too tired to really talk much.
We more just ate a wonderful steak in peace.
Thursday, Sawyer will turn 3 months which seems unreal. It
has been such a wonderful 3 months and I couldn’t imagine our life with him but
boy oh boy how life has changed!
Love that boy!! And you two, too! :)
